Hi my name is Eddie and I am looking for my forever home.

He's all a blur, but this young man is happy today! Eddy has not stopped moving as you can see in his photo. He's exploring, running and playing and having the time of his life. What an immensely gratifying moment in my rescue life this is to see this magnificent creature go from being once chained, then to a shelter and now jumping up on me like he's known me for years. I am so grateful for each and every person who helped Eddy get where he is today. In a few days, after he settles down from his excitement, Eddy will visit the vet and start his much needed heart-worm treatment. After that is complete, Eddy will take interviews for a foster family and/or his potential forever family.

Original Story 7/18/2009 - My name is Eddie, but if someone can rescue me and give me a new leash on life, I'd like a new name too!!! You see my owner died and I've been living tied up outside for 2 months. My water has turned green and sometimes people throw me food or table scraps on paper plates. This is no life for anyone living in the hot Florida sun. I am desperate for the creature comforts I once enjoyed when my human mom was alive, not only do I miss her, but I miss love, longs walks and tender loving care she used to give me. My destination will be the local pound if someone doesn't help me. I need money for a heart-worm test and neutering, transportation to Dal Rescue, and the promise of a loving foster home. I'm only three years of age and have my lifetime to offer someone who will find a special 'spot' in their heart for me!!! Please help, it's hot out here and I deserve better!!!
