MARLIN

Hi there. I was named "Marlin" after the Marlins' baseball team who won their first World Series the day I was rescued.  I have been at Dal Rescue since.  I did have a brief home, but my adopted family got divorced and sent me back to rescue.

I need a Dal Pal, someone to write to me, be a friend and help with my vet bills.  You see, I am getting older and require special care.  Miss Pati took this picture of me on my last trip to the doc to get my bandage changed.  I had a bad sore that could not heal, but over time and with the help of a splint and a great doc,  I could walk and not break open the healing process.  I also have kidney problems and am losing a lot of weight.  I've had that condition on and off for a while now.

I had a flare up with my kidneys a few years ago during Hurricane Wilma, and Miss Pati tube fed me during and after the storm.  I bounced back and started eating on my own and gained back my weight.  I heard Miss Pati say that she is hoping that I will bounce back again and wishes for me to have a few more healthy years yet.  I sleep on my bed next to her desk.  She has cared for me all these years and wants the best for me.

I know how much Dal Rescue has spent on me and how they have struggled to pay my vet bills.  I'd like to find a Dal Pal, so I can help the wonderful cause that loves me so much and wants me to get better.  If you would like to sponsor me, please email us at admin@dalmatianrescue.com or call (305) 940-3320.  I'm sure that Miss Pati and the rest of the Dal Rescue Team would appreciate knowing that help is on the way!

Love,

Marlin

DANNY

Thanks to three wonderful rescue ladies who saw me in a shelter, bailed me out and transported me to Dal Rescue, I know have a name and someplace to stay.  One of the ladies named me Danny, but Miss Pati calls  me Daniel since I am a senior.

I was pulled from a pond and taken to animal control.  I could not walk and had a real hard time getting up.  When I got to Dal Rescue, my new doc examined me and said I had some arthritis in my spine.   He said my hips and legs looked o.k. though.

I love my new Kuranda bed, it helps me get up and down easier.  I am a real quiet guy who just loves to get attention.  I am walking better now with medication and supplements.  My coat has very much improved since I came to rescue and since I look and feel better, I have self esteem.
I had ear surgery a few weeks ago and also got my teeth cleaned and now have pearly whites.  Dal Rescue sure has taken great care of me.  That's why they need help.  Taking such good care of me requires funds for my medication, supplements and vet bills.  I could also use a new friend.  I would like to go for car rides and walks and meet new people.  I'm a real friendly guy.

If you could be my new Dal Pal, please let us know.  You can email Miss Pati at admin@dalmatianrescue.com or call her at (305) 940-3320.  I look forward to hearing from you!

Love,

                                                                    Daniel

LEHAM

Looks like I need to get some meat on my bones, my ears don't know what to do yet and I'm starving!!  But guess what!  I'm free from the shelter where I was dropped off when nobody wanted me anymore.  That sure was a scary place.

I am five month old Leham and I'm looking for a Dal Pal to be my friend and sponsor.  Miss Pati says I need lots of TLC, I think that means lots of hugs and love.  I need a check up at the doc's office in a couple days and still need to be neutered. I got some good puppy food today which will help me get bigger.

Maybe if I find a Dal Pal they could take me to the Fall Frolic where I can meet lots of people, other doggies and even go swimming.  I am happy to have my new leash on life.  If you would like to help make a difference in my life while I wait for my forever home, please give the folks at Dal Rescue a call.

Gotta run for now, lots of exploring to do in my new foster home and I think dinner is ready! Yum!

Lots of licks,

Leham

BESS

Hi There!  My name is Bess (that's short for black-eyed Susan), guess someone had a sense of humor when they named me!  I am a three year old cutie pie full of love and energy.  Since I was sprung from the shelter, I've gone through heartworm treatment and am almost finished.  Yippee!  That's when Miss Pati says I can be spayed.  Gee, sure seems like a long process mostly 'cause I'm real anxious to find a nice family to spend the rest of my life with.

I love toys, like to run around the yard at my foster home and get along real well with other canines and kids!!! I got to go the thrift store New and Second Beginnings and greet people when they came in the door.  Miss Diane at the store thought I was very well behaved and very pretty.

While I finish my treatment and get spayed I'd like to have a Dal Pal.  The nice folks at Dal Rescue would be grateful to have a Dal Pal sponsor me to help with the vet bills and stuff.  There are a lot of us that came into rescue at once who all have heartworms, but thanks to Dal Rescue we will all be feeling better soon!  Until then, I've got my eye out for a Dal Pal.  Could that be you?

It's a nice sunny day and I want to play, so until next time!

Ta Ta,

Love Bess

LOGAN

My new name is Logan.  I have a unique look, liver/white with gold eyes.  I'm still going through my heartworm treatment and should feel better soon.  I'm just laying low for now in my foster home with August.  We were picked up together and put in the same shelter. We were really dirty and malnourished when Miss Pati found us.  We were so happy someone came to save us!

For now August and I are roommates, but we don't have to go to the same home. We can be kinda independent of each other.  I get along great with other doggies and am very curious about things.  My foster mom says I'm kind of snoopy.  I am a very good girl, neat and clean.  I do need a new bed though, Dal Rescue gives hand-me-downs to the foster homes and they are running low on nice cushy beds.  I also need some more vitamins 'cause my doc says I need to be real healthy to be spayed.

What I am looking for besides my forever home is a new friend.  I have about another month of treatment and in the meantime could really use someone to go for walks with, take me for car rides and be my special Dal Pal.  My foster home is real nice, but I like more attention than they can give me and I think Dal Rescue could use the extra help.  They run on a very tight budget.

When I'm ready for my new home, I will be a great candidate for adoption 'cause I'm a real gem!  Until then, I'll keep hoping for someone special to come into my life.  Thanks for reading my story and if you would like to meet me or sponsor me, please call Miss Pati.

Lots of love,

Logan
