Domino

Domino has quite a life now.

Our 16 month old bouncing baby boy, started life in Orlando as Rookie. Bought from a breeder, Rookie was left in a cage and screamed at for months, then a very compassionate person, Chris broke Rookie out and took him into his care, but realized Rookie was too much at the time. You see, Chris was a single dad to Stryder (a lab pup) and doing the right thing by going to school, working, and trying to keep his head above water. Chris not knowing what to do turned to Pati at Dalmatian Rescue.

Right about that time I was asking Pati if she ever gets young puppies, and she told us that she thought she would be getting Rookie. Well she did get him and asked us if we wanted to meet him, so we took a drive down to her place and just as she described he was a beautiful young boy. He is a very shy boy but seemed ok with us.

So ok he’s a nice dog, but I needed time to think about getting a new dog, and I told Pati we would let her know. As I am driving home I am wondering how in the heck this dog got in the back seat of my car. Oh, I know, beetween Lora (my wife), Pati and Rookie (now named Domino) there was a break down in communication. Apparently NO means get in the back seat in dog language. Man what a sucker I am.

Domino seemed calm and well behaved, but once he caught up on his rest from the trip down from Orlando the Dalmatian in him came out. Domino loves to play and wrestle with his big sister Bubbles. Oh one other thing upon further research Domino was born in early November, 2005 exactly at the same time our beloved General passed away. Now I don’t believe in reincarnation, but Domino is General without General’s bad habit of biting people.

Domino brings so much joy into our lives, and I know he is going to have a great life in his forever life with us.

 Love Joe and Lora
