Fiona's happy ending....found her forever home on January 21, 2005
You may remember Fiona as one of the Dals that came from the Panhandle just before Katrina struck. Fiona was treated for her heartworms and made ready to find her forever home. After recovering, Fiona would spend countless hours watching squirrels. On January 21st, Fiona found her forever home and is now named Grace. Taylor lost her Dal companion and came to Dal Rescue to find another friend to share her home with.
Here's an update from Grace's new family........

What a love Grace is! She is so affectionate and very well behaved. This afternoon we took Taylor and Grace to the shcoolyard that is totally fenced in and let them run. Boy, can those two girls run fast! It was fun to watch! Grace met her new vet Dr. Kelly yesterday and she just grinned from ear to ear! Dr. Kelly couldn't believe how much she and Taylor look alike! At one point Grace reached up to him to be petted, and as he did, he told us Taylor picked a great dog!
Today the girls are at the "doggie spa". Taylor and Grace played a little this morning before we went to the doggie spa. We're so happy to have her, she's such a love. Here's a picture of Grace with a stuffed Dalmatian we have.
