"Gennie" as she is
so fondly called by her new family is doing well in her forever home with
her new Dal sis "Adrienne". Two paws up for Beth and her family
for adopting a "special needs" Dal. "Gennie" has Cushings
Disease which her new family is very familiar with and will offer her
a wonderful home! Here's an update from her mom Beth...........
Things have been busy here. We are leaving for vacation. Adrienne goes
to the vet on Tuesday to get the rest of her shots. Gennie will be tagging
along for a meet and greet with the doc. She seems to be settling well.
She got another bed so she could have one for the family room and one
for our bedroom. Gennie absolutely loves the car. We are still working
on the "make room" concept so that Adrienne isn't trapped in
the corner unable to move while Gennie has staked out the rest of the
back seat. The girls are doing pretty good. No major squirmishes, just
a couple of bare my teeth "that's MY toy" looks by both of them.
Adrienne is o.k. with letting her be the dominant dog.
