She is a beautiful Dalmatian that we rescued on Saturday, October 7^th and has already, after a couple of days, become completely part of our family.  We were told she is between 2 and 3 years old, but with all of her energy, which we are calling PLAYFULNESS, we tend to think she is closer to 2 years of age.  She is already house trained (thank God), has a great temperament and mannerisms and we are already working on some new tricks.  Although, she just hasn’t gotten used to the biggest trick that we are working on…sleeping somewhere other than on the furniture!!!

We found Juliet at “Dalmatian Rescue, Inc.” in North Miami Beach, Florida.  Juliet was originally from the Clearwater area, and ended up in a Clearwater shelter, where her life was in danger had she not been adopted.  However, “Dalmatian Rescue” saved her and we were fortunate to have had the opportunity to adopt her.  We knew she was a perfect fit for our family as she rounded the corner to meet us for the first time on Saturday.  Tina and I just looked at each other and didn’t have to say a word. 

Juliet and Kiara also seem to have hit it off right away, although there have been a few skirmishes, which is expected in the beginning.  After a few days, they have really come to enjoy each other.  If anything, Kiara has just been adjusting to having another friend/sister in the house since the loss of baby Symba.
