My sweet cutie pie Abigail went to the Bridge today.  Her fight with Lymphoma ended when she said goodbye on her own at noon today.  I will miss her terribly.  This picture was taken several years ago in front of  the kennel.  In fact Abigail was  rescued from the concrete company around the corner where she had been hanging out for six months.  I often wondered how she ever escaped being hit by one of those huge trucks.  Guess she was spared...... just waiting to come to us.

Abigail has been with us since her rescue on July 25th of '01.  Abigail had a special place in our home, on the sofa in the photo room and  she holds an equally special place in our hearts.  Abigail is now laid to rest under the shade tree where she liked to sit and chase lizzards.  Abigail had a good life here on this earth and now awaits to meet me again on the other side.  It will be a wonderful reunion!
