Tribute To Ulyssis
It was our hope that Ulyssis would live to see his 5th birthday on February 6th. But even after many months of hand feeding, fluid therapy and special care, with lots of love and hope, Ulyssis succumbed to renal failure and left us far too soon. Mark and I consider that God did answer our prayers in that Ulyssis lived beyond the time that he was given to survive such an illness. That precious time is a miracle in itself that allowed us more special moments and more months to grow even closer to the wonderful pup that had such an impact on our lives. Mark and I are grateful beyond words for the time we had with Ulyssis and for the joy he brought into our lives from the moment he was rescued at six months of age. Ulyssis was rescued from a puppy store on June 6, 2003 where he was found malnourished to remain small and more sellable. May Ulyssis be running in green pastures now at Rainbow Bridge with Simone, Jetta, Samson, Caesar, Shiloh and many others that have touched our lives throughout the years. Ulyssis will always live in our hearts and in our memories until we meet again someday. Godspeed Ulyssis, we love you and miss you! Mark and Pati |
