Sunday was a great day for a drive. Blaze and I drove to meet his new Jacksonville family. It was sad to see him go but gratifying to know he is with the right family!!
Congratulations to Balze and his new family!!
09.19.2019 – Blaze is looking for his forever home!!
Tuesday, I had the pleasure of bringing our latest foster home. His name is Blaze, in honor of firefighters and firedogs everywhere.
Blaze is a 64 LB, 2-year-old male Dalmatian in search of his forever home. He is neutered, chipped, and entirely up to date on shots.
As part of the DRSF intake process, Blaze had an evaluation visit with our vet on Thursday, 10-17, and was found to be in good health. Blaze gets along with other dogs, but we do not know about children or cats.
Please contact us using our contact form, or call Pati directly at (305) 940-3320 for further information.

Little Blaze is traveling with Pati to his forever home today. Congratulations Little Blaze and his New Family!!
10.11.2019 – Little Blaze
Blaze here. I’m a recent rescue from the Florida Panhandle and was named blaze in honor of national firedog day a couple of weeks ago. I am a very small boy, a real hugger, and a kisser and desperately seeking a new home where I can get lots of attention. I am great with other canines. I’m currently in pet sitting so hopefully I can schedule a meet and greet real soon and find my happily ever after. I’m very smart and eager to learn. Hope to hear from you soon! Love, Blaze!

Miles has found his forever home! Congratulations to Miles and his new family!!
Hi there everyone. My name is Miles. I’m a Georgia boy and so happy to be safe right now. My human companion passed away and I had no place to go. A very kind DRSF volunteer heeded the call to action. I’m clean and quite comfy now and saw the vet in preparation for my flight with pilot Keith next week to Florida. Please let the nice folks at Dal Rescue know if you’re interested in meeting me. I’m great with other canines and love human attention!! Love, Miles
