Spot the Dal, is in Korea and awaiting travel. We are coordinating with the rescue team to bring him to the US. Spot needs to be an only pet. We will evaluate Spot once he arrives at our rescue and then we will place him available for adoption. We are encouraged and confident we can find him just the right home!! Hang on Spot just a little bit longer. -Pati
04.02.2019 - Heartworm Fund Drive Update
Our buddy Luke is getting a follow-up Heartworm test thanks to the generous donations made by our supporters. At Dalmatian Rescue, your donations go directly to benefit the Dals.
Jamey and Hayleigh (Daisy Mae) are 2 weeks away from heartworm treatment. Funds are still greatly needed for both. Please help these too get their treatments. Remember your donations are tax deductible.

Dalmatian Rescue Begins Heartworm Fundraiser!
Recently we have taken in several heartworm positive rescues. We begin this fundraiser to meet these specific medical expenses.
You may wonder what causes heartworm disease. Heartworm arises from the parasite organism Dirofilaria Immitis. Dirofilaria Immitis is a nematode (roundworm). The severity of illness directly correlates to the number of worms, how long they have been present, and the overall health of the infected dog.
In dogs with an early disease state may be asymptomatic. In other words, they are showing minimal indication or no symptoms at all. In more advanced cases a persistent cough and intolerance to moderate exercise.
Where did we get our information? We relied on PetMd.com. Please read "Heartworm Disease in Dogs (Dirofilariasis in Dogs) "on petmd.com.
We also strongly urge you to review and verify this with your veterinarian.
Our current heartworm patients include the following pups.

From Korea with Love! survivors of the meat trade. a Huge Thanks to all the amazing Korean rescuers and every single person that played a role in their rescue.
Huge Thanks to Pati, at Dalmatian Rescue SoFla for taking them in, to Miriam for fostering them. Great job everyone!
It was an awesome day today. Dals from Beijing, Korea, Puerto Rico, Cairo, Tennessee, Georgia, and some Florida Dals all sported their best green in support of local community and state service men and women. We are grateful for our many loyal Dal families and fans who joined us today. Two awesome kids Keegan and Leham made their annual donation to DRSF they raised by selling brownies and cookies. Pawsome job guys!! You rock!! A great time was had by all. And we’re all “dog tired”!
